St. Joseph's Girls' College celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. Students, teachers, and staff members came together to mark the occasion.
Rev. Fr. James Francis was the esteemed chief guest for the day.
The national flag was hoisted by the chief guest, the manager, the principal and Rev. Fr. Joel followed by the national anthem and flag song.
Students performed patriotic songs, speeches and dances showcasing their talent and love for the country.
Teachers also presented a group song. The poem recited by the visually impaired students left everyone enthralled.
The chief guest, in his speech, appreciated the students for putting up a good show.
The celebration came to an end with National song followed by the slogans.
The programme aimed to instill a sense of patriotism, national pride, and unity among students, while honoring the country's freedom fighters and their sacrifices.
