The school commemorated the birth anniversaries of two great leaders, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, with a solemn and vibrant celebration. The day began with a morning prayer, setting a serene tone for the festivities.
The program featured a thought-provoking speech on the lives and principles of both leaders, delivered in Hindi by the Head Girl. This was followed by a passionate speech in English by Ms. Sunita Srivastava,highlighting their contributions to India's freedom struggle and nation-building.
Students took turns reciting inspiring slogans of different leaders, including "Be the change you wish to see in the world" & "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan". The atmosphere was electric with enthusiasm and patriotism.
The students then came together to sing a group song, celebrating unity and harmony. The soulful rendition of Ram Dhun added a spiritual touch to the event.
The celebration culminated with the entire school gathering standing in unison to sing the national anthem, "Jana Gana Mana." The event was a fitting tribute to both leaders, and it instilled in the students a deeper appreciation for their values and ideals.
