Rules

  • The Diary must be brought to college daily.
  • Every pupil is required to attend college-curricular and co-curricular-activities, in the prescribed uniform. All information regarding the uniform may be had from office
  • Punctuality must be strictly observed. Pupil must be present in the college premises 5 minutes before the commencement of college hours. i.e., the morning assembly. Late comers will be marked absent, even if they may be allowed to attend classes. Habitual late comers will be taken to task. Strict regularity and punctuality, obedience, courtesy in word and deed, cleanliness in dress and person and proper care of books and School property are expected from every pupil.

  • No pupil may be absent from classes/college functions except for serious reasons. Parents/guardians should fill in the ‘Leave of Absence Record’ when their son/ward comes back to college,and also send a signed leave application.
  • If for some serious reasons a pupil cannot attend college for more than 3 days consecutively, the Principal should be informed in writing, and a medical certificate in case of illness should be submitted.
  • No literature of any kind which is not directly connected with the college curriculum should be brought to college.
  • Pupils are not permitted to leave the college premises during college hours without the written permission of the Principal.
  • Parents/guardians or visitors are not allowed to interview pupils or teachers during college hours without the written permission of the Principal. Hence Parents/guardians are advised to meet teachers only by prior appointed and the written permission of the Principal.

  • Only English should be spoken within the college premises.
    In going from one classroom to another for special subjects, all shall move in an orderly manner.
  • Pupils themselves are responsible for their own books, color pencils, cycles, Tiffin, bottles or any other articles they may bring to college.
  • It is the duty of the pupils to see that the college premises are kept clean and tidy.
  • Pupils are expected to take care of the college property. Any damage caused to the college property must be made good either individually or collectively.
  • No pupils should remain in the class room during the recess.
  • Keeping or use of cell phones in the college campus is strictly prohibited.
  • Collection for any purpose requires the Principal’s sanction.
  • No private tuition should be arranged without the permission of the Principal.
  • Pupils are accountable to the college authorities for their conduct both in and outside the College premises.
  • A pupil may be sent home during college hours for violating any of the college rules.
    The college authorities also reserve the right of suspending/dismissing any pupil whose conduct, in their opinion, is not satisfactory.
  • A progress Report will be issued after the semestral and the annual assessments.
  • Pupils absent from any assessment will be considered to have failed in that assessment. No absentee will be re-examined.
  • All the students should put in an attendance of at least 75% to 80% of the working days. Any pupil falling short of the required attendance will not be granted promotion to the next class or allowed to appear for the Council examination.
  • Any pupil failing two years in succession will have to leave the college automatically.
  • Pupils leaving college in the middle of the academic year must give a month’s notice or a month’s fee in lieu thereof.
    Parents and guardians should take keen interest in the progress of their children and co-operate with the school in the development.
    It is much appreciated when parents respond readily to the invitation sent to attend the Parent Teacher Meeting and other School events. It is only with co-operation of the parents that the school can promote the all round developments of the students.
  • Application for transfer certificates shall be made to the Principal by the parents/guardians of the pupil on the prescribed form.
  • All students are encouraged to make good use of the college library and library online.
  • Fees must be paid in advance in cash regularly through the Bill Book as per “instructions to Parents/Guardians”( In the Bill Books).
  • Parents/Guardians must arrange their own transport as the college does not provide any transport facility. Students who wish to come to school on a bicycle must obtain an entry pass issued by the college and park the bicycle inside the school campus only.

    N.B.:-
    (1) Any changes in these rules or addition to it will be notified from time to time through circular letters, or announced in the Assembly.

    (2) None of these rules either in part or as a whole will be challenged in any court of law.

Examination and Assessment

  • The academic session will be divided into two terms.
  • First term: April to September
  • Second term: October to March
  • The Students will be assessed on the basis of their class room performance and exams to ensure that the process of assessment is continuous, smooth and competent on each term.
  • Each term will consist of a unit assessment
