Manager's birthday and bid farewell
Description: St. Joseph's Girls' College celebrated the manager's birthday and bid farewell to five of its esteemed teachers: Ms. Pramila, Ms. Sudha, Ms. Maya, Ms. Anita, and Ms. Shikha. The event also marked the beginning of the new session, known as Vidyarambh. The celebration was divided into two parts: one with the students and one with the teachers. The students' segment began with a prayer, followed by a group song by the Divya Jyoti students. The students presented class-wise cards to the manager and thanked the outgoing teachers with cards and a group song. As a part of Vidyarambh, Class X performed a motivational skit highlighting good morals and values in the school premises. An oath was taken to work with renewed energy and enthusiasm in the new session. Ms. Sudha expressed her gratitude towards everyone and said that they will always be thankful to the management for their constant support. She also expressed her love towards the students. The teachers' segment included a prayer service, a musical skit highlighting the qualities of the manager, and a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing teachers. The chief guest, the Most Rev. Bishop Louis Mascarenhas was all praises for the manager, Rev. Fr. Valerian D' Souza, and thanked the outgoing teachers for their dedicated service. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, a presentation of mementos and gifts to the outgoing teachers, and a sumptuous meal.
